JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 23-06-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, informant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that similarly situated co-accused has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 16.03.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 2322 of 2023. He further submits that petitioner has two criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of this application.

Learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant oppose the prayer for bail and submit that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18817 of 2023(2) dt.23-06-2023 2/2 petitioner has five criminal antecedents.

Without going into the merit of this case, as the petitioner has suppressed the criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected in connection with Kundwachainpur P.S. Case No. 16 of 2021.
