The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Hathua (Gopalganj) P.S. Case No. 48 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the FIR. The name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of one confessional statement made by co-accused Amit Rai, except confessional statement there is no incriminating materials against the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 21.07.2017.
