The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chiraiya P.S. Case No. 280 of 2017 dated 11.09.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

Thirty Four litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor was unauthorizedly found in the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 13.09.2017. Taking into account the fact that the co-accused has been granted bail by a Bench of this Court, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.

In the facts and circumstances, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56716 of 2017 (2) dt.30-11-2017 bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge-Excise, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Chiraiya P.S. Case No. 280 of 2017.
