Petitioner is in custody in connection with Sarai P.S. Case No. 364 of 2019 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case total 30 liters of country made liquor was seized.

The petitioner is in custody since 1.2.2020.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19284 of 2020(3) dt.03-06-2020 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Excise Court, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Sarai P.S. Case No. 364 of 2019 subject to the condition that on release the petitioner has to render his service for a period of one month as volunteer in Covid-19 hospital and he is required to report to the district Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner.
