This is an application for bail in connection with Kishanganj Rail P.S. Case No. 32 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20 and 22 of N.D.P.S. Act. Allegation is of recovery of 22 and odd kg. of ganja from the possession of the petitioner and one more accused person. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is contradiction in seizure list and FIR and he is in custody for six months.
Heard learned APP also.
Having heard both sides and in view of recovery of huge quantity of ganja, which is commercial quantity, I am not inclined
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61291 of 2017 (2) dt.11-01-2018 2/2 to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, prayer for bail is rejected. Let trial be expedited.
