Mr. Sri Narendra Kumar Singh, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIBEK CHAUDHURI ORAL ORDER 01-05-2024 The petitioner has filed the instant miscellaneous case under Section 482 of the CrPC, praying for a direction upon the learned Special Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna to dispose of G.R. Case No. 1682 of 2012, arising out of Danapur P.S. Case No. 213/2011, expeditiously and preferably, within a period of three months.

2. I have heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner. A criminal case under Section 498A/34 of the IPC is pending for more than 13 years. This case is a glare example of procrastination and inordinate delay in disposing of a criminal case under Section 498A/34 of the IPC. Accordingly, this Court disposes of the instant miscellaneous case, directing the learned S.D.J.M., Patna to dispose of the G.R. Case No. 1286 of 2011,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50605 of 2018(2) dt.01-05-2024 2/2 as early as possible and preferably within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

3. With the above order, the application under Section 482 of the CrPC is allowed and this disposes of the instant miscellaneous case.
