Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with L.N.M. University P.S. Case No. 149 of 2016 registered under section 413, 414, 401, 420, 467, 468 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is said to be one of the miscreants who have committed theft and were fleeing from the spot and also the petitioner is in custody since 14.10.2022.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25223 of 2023(2) dt.23-05-2023 2/2 bail.

Considering the period of custody and the fact that similarly situated co-accused have been granted bail, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of charge if the charge is not framed yet and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with L.N.M. University P.S. Case No. 149 of 2016.

The petitioner will visit Nirmali police station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
