2. The only issue which remains is with regard to payment of pension to the petitioner in the revised scale and arrears thereof.

3. As per the stand taken in the counter affidavit of the Accountant General, it is the Treasury Officer, Lakhisarai, who has to do the needful.

4. Learned counsel for the State submitted that as per instructions received from the Treasury Officer, Lakhisarai, certain information/documents are not available in his office which would be required for grant of revision of pension and payment of arrears of pension. It was further submitted that request has been made to the petitioner for supply of those documents/information through a special messenger and as soon as the same are made available, all admissible dues based thereupon shall be paid to the petitioner without delay.

In view of the stand taken on behalf of the respondents, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the petitioner or his representative to appear before the District Treasury Officer, Lakhisarai within two weeks from today along with all relevant documents/papers/information available with him. Upon doing so, the Treasury Officer, Lakhisarai shall ensure that appropriate action is taken and all the admissible dues of the petitioner relating to revision of pension and arrears thereof, is paid to him within the next three weeks.

6. To facilitate matters, the Treasury Officer, Lakhisarai

Patna High Court CWJC No.11577 of 2016 dt.02-01-2018 3/3 be impleaded as respondent no. 8. Learned counsel for the petitioner shall make necessary correction in the cause title of the writ petition during the course of the day. Learned counsel for the State accepts notice on his behalf.
