BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 16-02-2022 The matter has been heard via video conferencing due to circumstances prevailing on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Learned counsel for the State accepts notice for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is hereby directed to serve copy of the petition to learned counsel for the respondents, if it is not already served.

In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief/reliefs:

Patna High Court CWJC No.9088 of 2021 dt.16-02-2022 2/3 "(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs or direction to the respondents to rectify the salary discrepancy/pay scale of the petitioner as the petitioner is a retired Lady Health Visitor (LHV) and she retired from Primary Health Centre, Raghopur, Vaishali (Hajipur) and after rectification payment may be made to her in revised pay scale.

(ii) Further for issuance of an appropriate writ or directions to the respondents to dispose the representations of the petitioner in accordance with law."

The aforesaid relief is supported by representations dated 15.12.2020 and 28.01.2021 vide Annexure-8 and Annexure-9 respectively.

In the light of these facts and circumstances, the competent authority is hereby directed to examine the petitioner's grievance and redress the same. If the petitioner is entitled, in that event, necessary order shall be passed including

Patna High Court CWJC No.9088 of 2021 dt.16-02-2022 3/3 monetary benefits. If the petitioner is not entitled, in that event, a necessary speaking order shall be passed and communicated as to why the petitioner is not entitled. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order.

With the above observation, writ petition stands disposed of.
