The petitioner in the present case is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Alipur P.S. Case No. 54 of 1998 registered for the offences punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act in the year 1998. The petitioner was chargesheeted showing absconder in the year 2010.

The impugned order reveals that process under Sections 82 and 83 of the Cr.P.C. have already been exhausted. In that view of the matter and in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lavesh Vs. State (NCT of Delhi) reported in (2012) 8 SCC 730, anticipatory bail
