The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Aurangabad Muffasil P.S. Case No.155 of 2021 registered for offences under Sections 414, 467, 468, 470, 420 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. Petitioner is said to be the liner of the vehicle which was escorted by him and illicit liquor has been recovered from another vehicle from which the accused perons fled away. The petitioner has been named in the confessional statement of the co-accused. The petitioner has clean antecedent. Considering the aforesaid fact, this application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

No.18853 of 2022(2) dt.22-04-2022 2/2 Accordingly, let petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise 1st, Aurangabad (Bihar) in connection with Aurangabad Muffasil P.S. Case No.155 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. with further direction to the petitioner that he will visit Aurangabad Muffasil Police Station on the first Sunday of every month till trial of the case is concluded. If this direction is not complied, the bail bond of petitioner shall stand automatically cancelled. Station House Officer, Aurangabad Muffasil will also send report as to the attendance of the petitioner to the court below. (Sandeep Kumar, J) BT/- U T
