The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Mehandiganj P.S. Case No. 75 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(A) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016 and Section 27 of N.D.P.S. Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is that when he was apprehended by the Police, one litre of illicit liquor and 4.5 grams of heroin was recovered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he is in custody since 24.08.2017. Considering the nature of accusation and the period of custody already undergone, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner above named on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc.
