The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Obra P.S. Case No.171 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 16 litres of illicit country made liquor from the house of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, he is in custody since 26.10.2017 and two other cases are pending against him in which he has already been granted bail. Considering the nature of accusation, the period of custody already undergone, I direct the petitioner named above to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.60843 of 2017 (2) dt.21-12-2017 2/2 be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII-cumSpecial Judge (Excise), Aurangabad in connection with Obra P.S. Case No.171 of 2017.
