JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-05-2024 At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to correct the nomenclature of the Respondent No. 3. Permission, so sought, is granted. Needful be done during the course of the day.

The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of an order, direction or writs in the nature of Certiorari to direct the

Patna High Court CWJC No.5440 of 2024(2) dt.07-05-2024 2/3 respondent authorities to conduct the enquiry about the leak of Question Papers and consequent thereto cancel the whole examination from where candidates doing malpractice have been caught and F.I.R has also been registered. (ii). For issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to verify how answer sheet which has been published officially on 04.05.2023 was available with the candidates on the date of examination then direct the respondent authorities to cancel the whole examination.

(iii). Issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no. 5 (D.G.P) to investigate the matter and find the real culprit who are responsible for such leaked answer sheet available to candidates and take appropriate action against the responsible culprits.

(iv). Issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing Respondent authorities to verify the results of the candidates by taking a graph of response time to tackle a question, so those candidates who took fraud practice and malpractice of taking advantage of leaked question paper may be marked and there results may be cancelled."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however,

Patna High Court CWJC No.5440 of 2024(2) dt.07-05-2024 3/3 seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
