JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-11-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.i. To issue an appropriate writ/order/direction, in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to grant promotion on the post of Joint Director to the petitioner as per gradation list notified by the Department of Industries, Govt.

of Bihar,

Patna High Court CWJC No.5291 of 2022(2) dt.29-11-2023 2/3 tentatively vide letter No.-4893 dated 06.11.2018 and finally vide letter No.-5338 dated 28.11.2018.

ii. To issue an appropriate writ / order / direction, to revise the pension of the petitioner and other consequential benefits, after granting promotion to the post of Joint Director.

iii. To issue an appropriate writ/order/ direction, to make payment of arrear of salary w.e.f.

01.10.2020, on the date when the petitioner became entitle for getting promotion from the post of Dy.

Director to Joint Director in the Department of Industries, Govt. of Bihar."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioner approaches the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Industries, Government

Patna High Court CWJC No.5291 of 2022(2) dt.29-11-2023 3/3 of Bihar, Patna by filing appropriate representation, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off by a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
