This case is taken up through video conferencing. The petitioners, Ranjan Kumar and Ajay Kumar seek bail in Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.67 of 2020 (Excise Case No.70 of 2020), registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 30(a) (d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant alleged that on secret inputs that the petitioners were making home delivery of liquor, petitioners were apprehended and from their possession about 6 litres Indian made foreign liquor was recovered for that the petitioners are in jail since 18.02.2020.

No.15958 of 2020(2) dt.13-05-2020 2/2 Taking into consideration the facts and nature of allegation made against the petitioners and the fact that the petitioners are in jail since 18.02.2020 for recovery of small quantity of liquor from their possession, petitioners, namely, Ranjan Kumar and Ajay Kumar are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional District & Sessions Judge, Sheikhpura in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.67 of 2020 (Excise Case No.70 of 2020).
