2. The petitioner, who is in custody since 15.01.2025, seeks regular bail in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 13 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 64(1), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Sections 4 & 8 of the POCSO Act and Sections 3(1)(r)(s)(w) and 3(2)(v) of the SC/ST Act.

3. The petitioner is accused of committing rape with the victim. The victim girl has supported the fact of sexual assault in her statement recorded under Section 180 of the B.N.S.S., and under Section 184 of the B.N.S.S.

4. Considering the nature of the accusation and the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.
