JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 11-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and State. The petitioners are in custody in connection with Konch P.S. Case No. 66 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 366, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the prayer for grant of bail of the petitioners was rejected vide order dated 10.01.2019 in Cr. Misc. No. 72340 of 2018 with a direction to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of nine months from today. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners are in custody since 02.08.2018. He further submits that more than one year and five months have elapsed, yet the trial has not been concluded.

Considering the aforesaid, the petitioners, named

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16032 of 2020(2) dt.11-06-2020 2/2 above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-III, Gaya in connection with Konch P.S. Case No. 66 of 2018 with the condition that the petitioners on release will render their services as volunteer for a period of one month in dedicated Covid Hospital.
