In the present case, petitioner is seeking relief for payment of Rs.5,68,793/-.
Petitioner has claimed that he has supplied water cane as well as water glass at the rate of Rs. 50 and Rs.60 each respectively but not even a single farthing has been given. From the counter affidavit it appears that the State is ready for payment of Rs.25 per water cane and Rs.31 per water glass for 100 pieces.
In such view of the matter, the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah is directed to release the admitted
Patna High Court CWJC No.6375 of 2016 (4) dt.30-10-2017 amount. For the disputed amount, the petitioner, if so advised, may file representation before the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah who will look into the matter and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observation and direction this writ petition is disposed of.
