1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Balrampur P. S. Case No. 226 of 2025, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a young person having no criminal antecedent and has been languishing in jail since 25.12.2025 and against him the investigation has been completed. It is further submitted that the alleged liquor was found in a trunk made of tin from the petitioner's vehicle which was not in the knowledge of the petitioner as the same was kept by some passenger, the petitioner has been made accused mainly on account of being owner-cum-driver of the alleged vehicle.

4. Learned APP for the State opposes the bail prayer of the petitioner.

5. In the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the statements made in the petition as well as above submissions, coupled with petitioner's fair and clean antecedent and his custody period, this court is inclined to release him on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail in connection with Balrampur P. S. Case No. 226 of 2025, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
