2. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following reliefs:

"i) For the issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of Mandamus of any other appropriate writ or order or direction be issued directing and commanding the university authority to merger 50% of Dearness relief in basic pension of petitioner with effect from the dates of its application with respect to State Government Employees as well as Employees of University and pay the arrear immediately.

ii) For any other writ or order or direction to which the petitioner is found entitled by this Hon'ble Court may kindly be issued."

3. Learned counsel for the B.R.A. Bihar University, at

Patna High Court CWJC No.18293 of 2016 dt.17-02-2018 2/2 the very outset, submitted that the relief claimed being accepted, the figures are being worked out and it would be cleared within three weeks.

4. In view of the fact that nobody is appearing for the petitioner and also the commitment given to the Court by learned counsel for the B.R.A. Bihar University for paying the amount due, the writ petition stands disposed off with the observation that as per the commitment, the B.R.A. Bihar University shall make actual payment to the petitioner latest within four weeks from today. It is further indicated that the B.R.A. Bihar University shall not give occasion to the Court in future to consider the matter of any alleged violation of the commitment given to the Court, as recorded hereinabove.
