JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-12-2022 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- "(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, direction or order commanding and directing the respondents to pay suitable compensation to the petitioner for unnatural death of her husband due to electrocution of naked electric only bread- earner in her family, who died leaving her with two minor children.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs for a direction to the respondents to dispose

The respondent- South Bihar Power Distribution Limited, Bailey Road, Patna has filed a counter affidavit, wherein it has been stated that the petitioner was requested to provide all the documents including a copy of the F.I.R. etc., however, the same was not provided, hence, the petitioner be directed to approach the respondent no. 4 i.e. the Executive Engineer, Electrical Supply Division, Lakhisarai, by filing appropriate representation, annexing all the documents relating to death of her husband including F.I.R. etc., whereupon the respondent no. 4 shall consider the same and pass appropriate order, in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid stand taken by the respondent-South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited, Bailey Road, Patna, I deem it fit and appropriate to dispose off the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 4 by filing appropriate representation, annexing all the relevant documents including F.I.R. etc., within a period of four weeks from today, whereupon the respondent no. 4 shall take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.
