The license of the petitioner was cancelled by the licensing authority which order was sustained in appeal. However, when the matter went before the revisional authority, the case of the petitioner was remitted to the appellate authority for revisiting the order. Instead of passing a fresh order, the appellate authority chose to constitute a two member committee to enquire into the allegations against the petitioner.

Patna High Court CWJC No.5280 of 2022 dt.07-07-2022 2/2 As has been urged on behalf of the petitioner, the two members committee has already submitted its report on 09.02.2020 but, the learned appellate authority has not yet disposed of the matter.

There is no reason why even after the report of the two member committee has been furnished, the petition should remain pending before the appellate authority.

The appellate authority is thus directed to pass a final order within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

We need not remind the appellate authority that the order so passed by him shall contain reasons in support of the order.

With the aforestated observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
