Petitioner seeks bail in NDPS Case No.70 of 2017 (NDPS/RXL/17/2163), Seizure Memo(Unit Case) No.27 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 8, 20, 23 and 24 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act. In the written report, is alleged that on the date of occurrence near the Indo-Nepal border at Raxual, the petitioner with other accused persons, as named in the written report, were apprehended and on search 8 packets of Charas each weighing 02 Kg total 16 Kg. was recovered from the possession of coaccused, Imteyazuddin @ Gayasuddin and Sanjay Das fitted in their bodies and from possession of this petitioner two packets

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57679 of 2018 (2) dt.10-10-2018 2/2 Charas each weighing 02 Kg. total 04 Kg. fitted in his body was recovered. Besides the aforesaid, some money has also been recovered.

Keeping in view the recovery of huge quantity of Charas from possession of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is rejected at this stage.
