Matter has been posted at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioners, who submits that the matter is covered by the judgment of this Court passed in C.W.J.C.No. 11550/2016 (Shambhu Kumar & ors. v. the State of Bihar & ors.) which related to cancellation of the panel of Accredited Statistical Volunteers (hereinafter referred to as the 'ASV') and was disposed of without interfering with decision of the Cabinet. However, on taking note of experience gained by the petitioners that this Court directed that in case the State would be in need of services of such 'ASVs' then they may consider the petitioners and where they would go for fresh selection then due weightage be given to the petitioners on experiences together with age relaxation for participating in the process.

Learned counsel for the petitioners prays for disposal of the writ petition in terms of the order passed in the case of Shambhu Kumar (supra).

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of in terms of the directions/ liberty so contained in the judgment and order of this Court passed in the case of Shambhu Kumar (supra) which would squarely apply to the case of the present petitioners. (Jyoti Saran, J) Surendra/- U
