JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 11-07-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For directing the State respondents to provide security to the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family from the private respondents and their associates.
(ii). For restraining the private respondents from interfering with the possession of petitioner and his family members without any order of the competent court.
(iii). For holding that in the facts and circumstances of the case stated herein below the
Patna High Court CWJC No.6145 of 2024(2) dt.11-07-2024 3/3 petitioner and his co- sharers, being the rightful owner of the land in question entitled to be protected from the dispossession from their land at the hands of the private respondents.
(iv). For directing the respondent no. 2 to 4 to take appropriate action against the respondent no. 5, who is helping the private respondents to encroach the land in question."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondent No. 4 i.e. the Superintendent of Police, Purnea, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
