====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 23-06-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 353, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and the informant who is a Junior Electricity Engineer alleges that on 13.03.2022, he had constituted a team for disconnecting the electricity of the electricity users whose electricity bill was due, it is next alleged that the petitioner had dues of Rs. 5,661/-, as such, his electricity connection was to be

No.20202 of 2023(2) dt.23-06-2023 2/3 disconnected and when the team reached, it is alleged that petitioner abused and threatened the workers and thus obstructed them in discharge of their official duty. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, it is next submitted that petitioner was not even present at the place of occurrence when the alleged occurrence took place. It is next submitted that when the team came for disconnecting the electricity, the villagers gathered and abused and the petitioner came to be implicated since bill was outstanding, it is further submitted that petitioner has even deposited the arrears due of electricity. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the
