1. Heard learned Senior counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Mishra and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. Learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of twenty cases and is in custody since 28.02.2024. It is next submitted that petitioner had earlier moved this Court seeking regular bail by filing Criminal Miscellaneous No. 5279 of 2024 and the same came to be rejected by an order dated 25.10.2024.
4. The learned APP for the State, at this stage, submits that while rejecting the regular bail application of the petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19582 of 2026(2) dt.11-05-2026 2/3 by order dated 25.10.2024 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 5279 of 2024, the case was considered on merits and in detail. It is also submitted that three persons were killed and the name of the petitioner transpired during the course of investigation in confessional statement of Gulshan Kumar @ Tiger and Satyam Kumar @ Tyagi.
5. At this stage, the learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner, out of 20 cases, stands acquitted in 14 cases and is on bail in six other cases.
6. On query of the Court with regard to the stage of the trial, the learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner fairly submits that all prosecution witnesses have been examined, but then after 15.01.2026, the case has not progressed.
7. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
8. However, the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and to ensure that the trial is completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, in the event if what has been submitted by the learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner is

9. It is also directed that no unnecessary/undue adjournments be given in the trial.
10. Accordingly, the instant bail application stands rejected.
11. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the learned Trial Court.
