The petitioner seeks bail in Barh P.S. Case No.284 of 2019 registered under Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act. One loaded country made pistol and live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in jail since 23.06.2019.

Learned A.P.P. however opposed the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner has got criminal antecedent but it appears that petitioner is in jail since 23.06.2019 and the trial is not likely to be concluded in near future.

Taking into consideration the fact that petitioner has already remained in jail for about one year for the recovery of one loaded country made pistol and live cartridges, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail
