This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 22 of 2023, registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 630 litres of illicit country made liquor from a car. The petitioner is in custody since 17.02.2023 and he has clean antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19209 of 2023(2) dt.22-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody and the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner as well as the fact that he has clean antecedent, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Court No.2, Siwan in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 22 of 2023.
