JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 03-01-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the informant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Bihar.
The petitioner is husband of the informant, facing allegations of torturing his wife and subjecting her to cruelty in matrimonial relationship. The petitioner's defence is complete denial of allegation and that he is willing to continue in matrimonial relationship with the informant giving her due honor and dignity. In this background, the petitioner was allowed provisional bail on 0707-2022 by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court and the matter was referred to Mediation Centre of Civil Court, Madhepura and upon failure of mediation (Mediation Report is enclosed with the bail petition at Flag-B), the matter has been listed for consideration. Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for the informant, submit
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19040 of 2022(4) dt.03-01-2023 2/2 that the parties are now on good terms. They are living together in cordial matrimonial atmosphere.
In view of such submission, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner, above named, under order dated 07-07-2022, is hereby confirmed.
