2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barhaiya P.S. Case No. 180 of 2023 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307, 384, 379, 427, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 337 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.
3. As per allegation, the petitioner along with another co-accused in drunken condition stopped the vehicle of the Informant bearing Regd. No. BR-09V-9854 and demanded ransom amount of Rs. 3,000/- from him and, on protest, they assaulted the Informant. It is further alleged that they have also broken the other vehicle bearing Regd. No. BR-08G-5299.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20643 of 2024(2) dt.18-03-2024 2/2 petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged against him and has falsely been implicated in the present case. He further submits that from the injury report, it appers that the injury is simple and caused by hard and blunt substance. The petitioner has one criminal antecedent as has been stated in paragraph no.3 of the present bail application. The petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 06.01.2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

Having heard rival contention of both the parties and considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case as also taking into account the period of custody of the petitioner, let the petitioner, abovenamed, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Barhaiya P.S. Case No. 180 of 2023.
