The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 24.09.2017 in Jakkanpur P.S. Case No.325 of 2017 registered for the offence under Sections 419,420,290/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 11 of Bengal Gambling Act and Sections 3 /4 of Lottery Act, has prayed for grant of bail.

By way of referring to the statement made in paragraph-3 of the petition, it was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that save and except the present case, the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and in the present case, falsely he has been made accused.

Considering the nature of accusation, period of custody as well as clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55292 of 2017(2) dt.16-11-2017 2/2 namely, Satyendra Roy be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st, Patna in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No.325 of 2017.
