JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 02-11-2017 The petitioner seeks to challenge Memo No. 543, dated 20.09.2016, issued by the Block Education Officer, Paliganj, Patna, whereby he has asked the Headmaster, Government Middle School, Ankuri to ensure appointment of the Member of Ward No. 8 on the post of Chairman of the School Education Committee of Government Middle School, Ankuri. From the pleadings on record, I notice that the grievance of the petitioner is based on the contention that the said Government Middle School, Ankuri is situated within Ward No.3 of Gram Panchayat Ankuri.

Patna High Court CWJC No.16555 of 2016(3) dt.02-11-2017 2/2 A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State Respondents specifically stating that the said School is situated in Ward No.8 and not in Ward No.3.

It has also been submitted on behalf of the State Respondents that the petitioner has an alternative remedy of appeal under the Bihar State Free and Essential Education of Children Rules, 2013.

This application is, therefore, dismissed.
