The petitioner seeks bail in Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 24 of 2022, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 121, 121(A) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 of the U.A.P. Act.

As per the prosecution case, on secret information that some Maoists are assembling near Chormara forest a raid was conducted and this petitioner alongwith co-accused Ranjit Singh were apprehended on the spot and from possession of this petitioner, one mobile, camouflage caps, monkey caps, torch, biscuit etc. were recovered.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that no arms and ammunition or any incriminating article has been recovered from possession of this petitioner and he has been falsely implicated in this case only on suspicion. Petitioner has got no concern with the Naxalites group. Similarly situated co-accused

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18708 of 2022(2) dt.26-05-2022 2/2 Ranjit Singh has already been granted bail by this Court, vide order dated 10.05.2022 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 13841 of 2022. Petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2022.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jamui in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 24 of 2022.
