The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "That this application is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari and / or any other appropriate writ or writs, order

Patna High Court CWJC No.5260 of 2023(2) dt.01-11-2023 2/3 (s) or direction (s), is for quashing of order dated 27.12.2022 issued under Memo No. 2609 by Respondent No. 4, Civil Surgeon cum member secretary of District Health Society, Nalanda, whereby or whereunder appointments for cleaning in the Health Institution in the District of Nalanda has been made on contract basis from outsourcing of Respondent No.6 to 8, without appointing the petitioners who were discharging work of cleaning in the Health Institution since long and they have been removed from work without any reason particularly when the petitioners were lastly appointed by Memo No. 1965, dated 06.07.2021 and further direct the respondent no.

1 to 5 to appoint petitioners on regular basis as cleaner in the Health Institution in the District of Nalanda and during pendency of this writ petition stay the impugned order dated 27.12.2022 issued under Memo No. 2609 dated 27.12.2022 by Respondent No. 4 and further direct the respondents to allow the petitioners to work in the Health Institution in the District- Nalanda for cleaning."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of their subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
