Petitioners have prayed for the following relief(s):- "For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders or direction commanding the respondent authorities to consider the cases of the petitioners for their appointment to the post of Constable pursuant to the Advertisement published in the year 2004, as the petitioners appeared in the Physical Fitness Test conducted by the respondent authorities in which the petitioners have been declared successful and despite large number of vacant posts, cases of the petitioners have not been considered for their appointment to the post of Constable."
Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition reserving liberty to take recourse to such remedies as are otherwise available in accordance with law.
