The petitioner seeks modification of the order dated 21.09.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 41092 of 2020 granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is aged about 70 years. He further submits that due to illness as also the spread of Covid-19 infection, he could not surrender within the stipulated time before the court below to take advantage of the order.

For the reasons stated in the application, the prayer for extension of time for surrendering of the petitioner before the court below is allowed.

No.27846 of 2022(2) dt.22-06-2022 2/2 The order dated 21.09.2021 is modified to the extent that if the petitioner, above named, surrenders before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, he will be accorded the privilege under the order dated 21.09.2021 on the same terms and conditions.

With the aforesaid modification, the application stands allowed.
