JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to pay the welfare fund amount from the Welfare Fund to the petitioner which not been paid to her till date for which she is entitled for the same after the death of her husband.
(ii) For further directing and commanding the respondents to pay the entire death claim/retiral dues and other consequential benefits to the petitioner relating to her late husband after his death as she has only paid the pension amount till date after death of her husband by the respondent authority concerned.
(iii) For further directing and commanding the respondents as other consequential prayer made by
Patna High Court CWJC No.10823 of 2015(2) dt.24-08-2023 2/2 the petitioner to appoint Devar of the petitioner namely Arun Kumar Singh on compassionate ground as consent already given by the petitioner after death of her husband."
At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of her aforesaid grievances.
