The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 1690 of 2019, arising out of Maner P.S. Case No. 84 of 2019, for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 14.02.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 35 litres of Mahua liquor was seized. He submits that nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he was not found in drunken position. Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18526 of 2019(2) dt.27-03-2019 2/2 (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 1690 of 2019, arising out of Maner P.S. Case No. 84 of 2019.
