Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 17.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.48812 of 2017 on merit and there was recovery of a blood stained dagger from the petitioner.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody for about 15 months and up-till-now only four witnesses have been examined and they have been declared hostile. There is no direct allegation against the petitioner. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the learned trial court is directed to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51049 of 2018 (2) dt.29-08-2018 2/2 expedite the trial and try to conduct it on regular basis so that it may be concluded as soon as possible.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
