2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offence under Sections 341, 323, 307, 387, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per F.I.R., on 26.02.2023, when the informant had gone to market to purchase vegetables, this petitioner alongwith co-accused Nepal Mandal assaulted him mercilessly, as a result of which, informant sustained multiple injuries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to political rivalry. Petitioner is local Mukhiya of the Panchayat. The injury, caused by the petitioner, is simple in nature.

5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24602 of 2024(4) dt.27-06-2024 2/2 opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that there is specific allegation against this petitioner that he alongwith coaccused brutally assaulted informant. Besides this, petitioner has got criminal antecedent and he is accused in altogether 19 cases.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and criminal antecedent, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
