This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 28/2023 registered under sections 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a), 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 45 litre liquor and also the petitioner is in custody since 17.01.2023 also petitioner has four similar antecedent. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of charge if the charge is not framed yet and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. II, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 28/2023. The petitioner will visit Pipra police station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
