This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Simri No. 238 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

The First Information Report was registered against unknown. Petitioner's name has surfaced in course of investigation on the basis of confessional statement of coaccused. As per the case of the prosecution, a Bolero pick-up van was snatched by the miscreants, which was loaded with 65 bags of maize seeds.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the owner of a tent house and he had simply taken the said vehicle on rent for carrying articles.

It is evident on perusal of the case diary that looted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16255 of 2020(3) dt.01-07-2020 2/2 vehicle was recovered from the petitioner's possession. In my opinion, no case for grant of regular bail is made out for the present.

This application is accordingly dismissed.
