Petitioner has earlier moved this Court for grant of bail in Cr. Misc. No. 32244 of 2019, which was rejected vide order dated 13.09.2019 (Annexure-1).

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been rotting in judicial custody since 09.10.2018 and there is no substantial progress in the trial. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that no fresh ground has been urged on behalf of the petitioner.

Considering the nature of allegations levelled, the

No.16070 of 2020(6) dt.21-10-2020 2/2 materials available on record and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties and the fact and there is no fresh ground, this Court does not find it to be a fit case for grant of bail to the petitioner.
