Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the mother of the petitioner died in harness on 29.01.2015 and thereafter the petitioner has approached the respondents for consideration of his case for compassionate appointment, but till date the respondents have not taken any decision on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment. Referring to Annexure-4 he submits that the petitioner has already approached the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Vaishali for redressal of his grievance, but no

In view of the above and considering the fact that the writ application has been filed on 01.12.2016, but till date no counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Vaishali to take final decision in the matter of claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment expeditiously preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
