The petitioner is in custody in connection with Hilsa P.S.

Case No.609 of 2016, a case under Sections 147/149/302/323/324/109 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is of commission of assault with lathi at the head of the husband of the informant. Same allegation is against co-accused Ranjit Bind. However, the doctor has found single injury at the head, as submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner, which was cause of death. Petitioner is in custody since 28.02.2017.

Considering the nature of allegation and the period already undergone, let the petitioner, above named, be released on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61950 of 2017 (5) dt.15-02-2018 P2/ bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
