The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sabour P.S. Case No. 272 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Section 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.
The allegation is regarding recovery of 26 litres of country made liquor from a jute bag from a place nearby to the place where the petitioner is said to have been standing. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has nothing to do either with the said bag or with the alleged recovery. It is submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is in custody since 17.09.2017. Considering the nature of accusation, the period of
