JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 23-06-2016 After having heard Mrs. Namrata Mishra in support of the application directed against the order dated 12.07.2013 passed in File No. 97 of 2012 (Annexure-3), I am satisfied that the last portion of the said order merits to be interfered with where a general direction has been issued. Said part of the order reads as under:- "The Commission would also direct the amount of rupees two lakh be uniformly paid in all cases of electrocution death irrespective of the date of the incident." The other submissions of Mrs. Mishra criticizing the order passed by the learned Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission, in my view, are not fit to be sustained. No lack of jurisdiction in the Commission to pass such order on appreciating the materials/facts of the case is shown to the Court. The order dated 12.07.2013 (Annexure-3) is upheld, except the last part of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.19676 of 2013 dt.23-06-2016 2/2 direction as noted hereinabove.

The writ application stands disposed of.
