2. Lastly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 08.02.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59597 of 2022 with a direction to the Trial Court to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably, within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that one year has already been lapsed. From perusal of the Trial Court's report dated 02.04.2024, it appears that there are total ten charge-sheet prosecution witnesses but till date only two witnesses have been examined so far. Further submission is that petitioner is in custody since 29.03.2020 and there is no

Having considered the period of custody of the petitioner and tardy progress of the trial, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional District and Sessions Judge-XIII, Gopalganj in connection with Sessions Trial No. 71 of 2023 arising out of Kateya P.S.
